Compensation : $65,000 - $75,000 per year + Full Benefits

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Customer Success Manager to grow and maintain relationships with an assigned client base in the NYC area . This role is critical in ensuring client satisfaction and driving revenue through upselling and cross-selling. The company specializes in Document Storage, Electronic Document Management Solutions, Data Storage, Pathology Storage, and Shredding services .

The ideal candidate will have a consultative sales background with a track record of exceeding sales targets in a transactional business services environment . Prior experience in records storage or shredding is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Management : Build and nurture relationships with assigned clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Revenue Growth : Upsell and cross-sell additional services to existing accounts to maximize revenue potential.
• Lead Development : Qualify, research, and convert leads into actionable opportunities.
• Value Communication : Articulate the value proposition of services to multiple organizational levels, including C-suite executives.
• Proposal Development : Create compelling business cases, proposals, and presentations to close sales opportunities.
• Negotiations : Negotiate terms of agreements to secure long-term client partnerships.
• Industry Engagement : Stay updated on industry trends, competitive offerings, and client requirements to provide informed feedback to internal teams.
• Professional Development : Participate in industry associations and professional organizations to expand network and knowledge base.

Qualifications

Required :

• Experience :
  • Minimum of 3 years in consultative sales.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quotas and securing competitive accounts.
• Skills :
  • Strong relationship-building capabilities with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to converse confidently with C-level executives.
  • Technical awareness and understanding of document management solutions.
• Work History :
  • No job hoppers—preference for candidates with 3 jobs over 10 years .

Preferred :

• Background in records storage or shredding services .
