Job Description



Analyst/ Solutions Management professionals work with clients (external and internal) and use their knowledge of the product, industry and technology to design holistic solutions to meet business and technical needs across individual customers, customer segments, and regions.

They include product technical experts during the sales process that provide pre-sales technical advice and technical demos to customers about Visa products. They work hands-on with clients to demonstrate product integrations. They support clients to optimize their use and performance of Visa DPS Processing products.

The Analyst/ Solutions Manager will be a member of the Visa DPS Solutions Management Team, supporting a vast Issuer Processing platform and related products and services.

She/he/they will work with the team to engage with internal and external partners to understand key business problems, identify components to use to innovate or help define how their needs can be addressed with new extensible capabilities, and work directly with the product development and commercialization teams to enable development of solutions. This person will be a problem solver who has a passion for developing solutions.

The Analyst//Solutions Manager will have an aptitude for technical solutions and an ability to think through components with a “client-first” mindset. This person will have a passion for the payments industry and new technologies, and is able to communicate with cross-functional teams.

Essential Functions:

  • Work with the team that investigates solutions for issuers throughout the client process, focusing on customer satisfaction and Visa growth.

  • Represent Visa DPS in our customer’s product ideation stage, supporting internal and external clients to make the most from Visa DPS in the cardholder propositions.

  • Research components and solutions across Visa to develop and formulate solutions to client or market needs.

  • Bring an understanding of Visa DPS & associated value-added services while working knowing where to go to get answers. When appropriate, research technical advice to enable relationships with customers to be recognized as their trusted advisor.

  • Use knowledge of a solution or service to be involved in shaping its future development.

  • Partner with other Visa product groups and innovation teams to identify opportunities for collaboration and bring new offerings to DPS clients

  • Continuously build knowledge of technical architecture, tools, systems, and languages used across various business partners to ensure clarity amongst all parties.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications



Basic 

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD)


Preferred 

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • Must have a passion for the future of payments and technology
  • Technical acumen or an ability to learn
  • Must be able to navigate an organization to search for solutions
  • A proactive and driven individual with the capacity to adapt to solve problems, address challenges and enable progression
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work creatively, strong problem solving skills, and a clear ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders
  • Project Management skills with key understanding of Agile frameworks
  • Curious and inquisitive problem solver

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 96,600.00 to 125,550.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program
