Bay Ridge Auto Group is Hiring Experienced Service Technicians! We are a large used car dealer with a union shop, offering union benefits and competitive retention bonuses for technicians who stay with our team. We’re looking for skilled technicians with a minimum of 5 years of experience. While we prefer experience with Honda, Mazda, or Volkswagen, we welcome any qualified technician to apply. Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently perform work as specified on repair orders, adhering to our high standards.
• Conduct test drives and utilize diagnostic tools and specialized equipment to accurately assess and repair vehicles.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more.
• Communicate directly with Service Advisors to ensure customers are fully informed of any additional services needed, providing accurate time estimates for additional repairs.
• Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Service Technician.
• Preferred: Experience with Honda, Mazda, or Volkswagen.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; ASE Certification mandatory.
• Strong mechanical skills, excellent hand-eye coordination, and steady dexterity.
• Proficient in operating electronic diagnostic equipment and troubleshooting.
• Exceptional customer service skills and basic computer knowledge.
• Positive and friendly attitude, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong team player, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Willingness to learn new technology, repair procedures, and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
