We’re seeking a Front-End Developer to help us take our ecommerce platform to the next level. In this senior role, you’ll work on high-impact projects that enhance our digital storefront, from creating dynamic product pages to optimizing performance across the site. You’ll collaborate closely with marketing, design, and backend teams to deliver seamless, engaging user experiences that drive business growth. Our ecommerce platform serves millions of customers globally, with hundreds of products and custom solutions tailored to improve workspace ergonomics.

We’re looking for a developer with substantial experience building large-scale ecommerce websites for well-known brands. Your work will directly contribute to scaling our platform, improving customer engagement, and reinforcing our position as the go-to destination for height-adjustable desks.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience developing high-visibility websites with modern web technologies, including React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
• Proven track record of building scalable and maintainable ecommerce solutions for enterprise-level brands, ideally on platforms like BigCommerce (though experience with other major platforms, such as Shopify, will be considered).
• Strong understanding of component-driven architecture with CMS platforms such as Contentful.
• Expertise in modern CSS (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Emotion) and accessibility standards (WCAG compliance).
• Solid experience integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs in production environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Vercel for deploying and managing modern web applications.
• Familiarity with Cloudflare platform, CDN configuration, and databases like Supabase or Firebase.
• Proficiency with Git version control and project management tools like Airtable.
• Ability to write clear, comprehensive feature documentation for internal use.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, including proficiency with Google Workspace.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain custom, reusable React components for a headless CMS-driven ecommerce platform, ensuring modularity and scalability.
• Build and deploy Next.js applications that prioritize performance, maintainability, and security, following modern JavaScript best practices.
• Design and implement seamless integrations with RESTful and GraphQL APIs to connect various platforms and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including developers, designers, and marketers—to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Optimize website performance, Core Web Vitals, and SEO, while ensuring WCAG accessibility compliance.
• Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive documentation to support future development and internal knowledge sharing.
• Manage source code using Git, facilitate version control workflows, and deploy applications via Vercel.
• Build and customize components for CMS platforms like Contentful to deliver dynamic content solutions.
• Actively contribute to project planning by providing clear communication on timelines, risks, and deliverables to stakeholders.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices, and recommend innovative approaches to enhance the platform.
