**Position Title: Marketing & Events Coordinator**
**Location:** Cleveland, OH (Hybrid)
**About the Role:**
We are seeking a passionate and organized Marketing & Events Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you will oversee all event marketing initiatives for our brand, aiming to increase awareness and generate new customer leads at local, national, and international events. You will be responsible for managing every aspect of our presence at a variety of events, ensuring that we leave a lasting impression.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Event Management:** Coordinate an event calendar featuring over 40 events per year, managing the entire lifecycle from conception to completion. This includes planning local golf tournaments, international tradeshows, and partner brand events.
- **Strategic Oversight:** Develop and execute event strategies, including designing our presence at events, negotiating sponsorships, curating giveaways, overseeing booth design, and facilitating team support, registrations, and logistics.
- **Research & Recommendations:** Conduct research on industry-related events and provide thoughtful recommendations for inclusion on the event calendar.
- **Budget Management:** Maintain the approved event budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- **Success Reporting:** Report on the effectiveness of each event, measuring leads generated and costs incurred.
- **Resource Allocation:** Collaborate with the shipping department to plan and organize the distribution of company materials and collateral for events.
- **Webinars & Host Events:** Plan and organize webinars and other events aimed at engaging both new and existing customers.
- **Sponsorship & Opportunities:** Review and suggest potential sponsorship packages, speaking opportunities, and events for attendance.
- **Collaborate with Design Team:** Work closely with the internal design team to create graphics, event materials, and press announcements.
- **Vendor Management:** Oversee external vendors for audiovisual needs, booth design, product giveaways, and any other design support required.
- **Marketing Plan Implementation:** Manage the overall marketing strategy for events, including developing promotional materials, and driving communication through email, social media, and press announcements.
- **Audience Engagement:** Ensure timely follow-up communication with various audiences, including program managers and event partners.
- **Social Media Management:** May assist with social media efforts, collaborating with personnel and agencies to draft and monitor engaging content for platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn.
- **Graphic Design Coordination:** Manage graphic design requests through internal personnel or external vendors.
- **Stay Informed:** Keep up to date with trends and regulations around environmental marketing to ensure compliance in all communications.
- **Additional Duties:** Perform other related tasks as needed.
**Requirements and Qualifications:**
- 2-5 years of experience in a corporate environment focusing on event management, marketing, and communications, with a solid background in developing and executing multi-channel strategies.
- Strong project management experience is essential.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- In-depth understanding of what contributes to a successful event presence, with the ability to manage and support events on-site.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, management, vendors, and external stakeholders.
- A collaborative team player who is open to feedback while advocating for a strong creative vision.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and effectively prioritize tasks. Flexibility, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency are vital.
- An innovative thinker who proactively identifies opportunities and is motivated by challenges and the opportunity to create positive change.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to a fast-paced, semi-remote work environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 35% of the time.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Familiarity with the sustainability sector, including knowledge of carbon offsets, sustainable fuels, and emerging technologies.
- Understanding of rules and guidelines surrounding environmental marketing.
- Experience catering to high-profile clients within luxury goods or communicating sustainability initiatives.
- Knowledge of the business aviation industry, its products, and services.
- A pilot's license or an active interest in aviation is a plus!
