Position Title: Overnight Housekeeper
Department: Operations
Reports To: Housekeeping Manager
Classification: Part time Nonexempt
Essential Functions:
Under direction of the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor performs general cleaning throughout the facility.
Cleans floors including sweeping vacuuming mopping and waxing.
Cleans and stocks bathrooms.
Dusts areas that contain furniture such as offices.
Cleans windows.
Experience/Training/Education:
Desirable: At least oneyear experience in a housekeeping or janitorial position.
Knowledge/Abilities/Skills:
Knowledge of:
Safe work practices.
General cleaning procedures.
Ability to:
Read write and speak English.
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Work in a team atmosphere.
Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Skill to:
Operate radio devices.
Operate equipment scrubbers (riding and walk behind) sweepers (riding) vacuums etc.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
Position requires walking and standing for most of the shift; may be subject to adverse
conditions; may be required to work with hazardous substances; irregular hours may be
required.
